The boys were dying to get one some rides. They had a ball on this one.
The girls were excited to go on some bigger rides. This one whipped them around a bit, but looks like they enjoyed themselves.
As usual, on Labor Day we go to the Sangre de Christo Mountains and enjoy the tranquility of camping. We arrived on Friday; it was nice and sunny. That night, it not only rained but hailed. Here the girls are showing off the hail-drift that piled under our awning. Also on display is her magazine that was in her tent (while I prefer the warm and cozy queen sized bed in the camper, the girls wanted to stay in a tent). The turd floater of a storm completely washed through the tent, leaving all bedding, Barbies, magazines, and library books soaked. Luckily it wasn't bedtime yet, so the girls weren't in there at the time. The hail pile didn't melt away til Sunday.
We all enjoyed the culinary skills of Jeff and his brother-in-law, Jason. Here they are cooking us all some bacon and eggs.
